German Mico Project

Hamba Bamba Funda is a Non-Profit Organization that advocates Early Childhood Education from birth🤱🏼 through to 2 years old currently running projects in under-resourced areas in Kliptown, Soweto.

The German Embassy 🇩🇪 awarded Hamba Bamba Funda Micro Project funds to purchase a modular classroom which will enable us to offer SETA (Sector Education and training Authority of South Africa) accredited Early Childhood Education program from 2023. The classroom will officially be handed over to us on the 18th of November at our new premises in Dobsonville, Soweto by the German Ambassador from The German Embassy of Pretoria.

The Modular Training Centre will be an important steppingstone for Hamba Bamba Funda to expand its unique Early Childhood Education Program into a new location within Soweto, broaden and build a lifelong learning foundation for the babies and train caregivers with a view of them being released into the sector, gaining employment and breaking the cycle of poverty.
